Jesus has given us great freedom in His sacrifice to come out of the bondage of sin, however, like any soldier who’s been a prisoner of war we must let go of the old prisoner habits that we acquired in bondage. That requires a renewing of the mind that we are no longer in prison. We don’t have to fear the taskmaster. We don’t have to hoarder or ration our food. We don’t have to walk with small steps slumped over looking down at the bondage like we did with chains on our neck, wrists, and ankles. We have been given freedom! Stand tall, look forward, climb mountains, be generous, eat the goodness of Yahweh to the fullness He gives us! There is no taskmaster waiting to beat us, but rather a Friend and Daddy to come beside us and guide us through His victory! Remember who you are in Jesus this day of celebrating freedom, and remember what once commanded you to sin, no longer has the place of dictatorship over you for you to obey it. You are freed in Jesus’ name! Amen! Happy Independence Day!🇺🇸🎇🎆🙏✝️

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

“Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship. And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].” Romans 12:1-2 (NKJV)

“And the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you so angry? And why do you look annoyed? If you do well [believing Me and doing what is acceptable and pleasing to Me], will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well [but ignore My instruction], sin crouches at your door; its desire is for you [to overpower you], but you must master it.” Genesis 4:6-7 (AMP)

“So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you.” James 4:7 (AMP)
