Sometimes taking a moment to slow down and remember why we are celebrating this Christmas takes all the frustration, disappointment, sadness, anxiety, and fear away from our focus and re-adjusts our attention on who matters most – Jesus, Yeshuah Messiah.

Sometimes taking a moment to slow down and remember why we are celebrating this Christmas takes all the frustration, disappointment, sadness, anxiety, and fear away from our focus and re-adjusts our attention on who matters most – Jesus, Yeshuah Messiah.
This celebration isn’t about what we get, nor what we give, nor what we make, nor where we go. Instead, this Christmas celebration is about our Savior and Friend who stepped down from His throne for a moment in time to be a vulnerable baby and grow into a man to show us; He understands our heart, He understands our struggles, He understands how hard life can be, and He cares about us and what we are going through individually. He is with us through it all, and when we invite Him to be with us through this celebration He joins us, and helps us through the ups and downs. He helps us to remember it’s not about us, it’s about Him and what He is doing in our life and in the world for our good and for His glory.
So if you find yourself not getting your heart’s desire Christmas gift, the Christmas dinner wasn’t what you had planned for, or the visitors you wanted didn’t come, remember Jesus knows your heart struggle, and He is there with you to overcome the disappointments and have hope for the future.
