Sometimes it’s the simple things we do daily that help us to get to know someone better. It’s no different from our relationship with Jesus. Spending daily quality time with Jesus helps us to get closer to Him, and to get to know Him better. We can get to know the heart of Jesus, what makes Him smile, What makes Him sad, what comforts Him, what encourages Him, what gives Him joy, and so much more. He is the best friend we could ever have.
As we go through our day, remember to take time with Jesus in conversation, reading His letters to us, listen and obey His directions for us, repent immediately of our sins so we don’t hinder our relationship with Him, sing songs about and declare His good character, and to live a life that shows how our Best Friend’s ways are rubbing off on us because of how much time we spend with Him. 📅😊🤝😊✝️❤️👍
